Peyton West Signs With Tennessee Wesleyan University

Peyton West, two-year starter for Vol State and all conference both seasons, signs at NAIA power Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, TN. TWU made the NAIA National Tournament in 1920-21. They are coached by Ray Stone who is in his fourth season. Peyton is a native of Cookeville, TN and played at Monterey HS. Peyton was a great point guard, a coach on the floor and was an outstanding student who made the Third Team All-American Academic Team in the NJCAA. His dad, Adam, served as interim head for 3 games during Coach Melvin's sickness and continued to help Vol State through the season.
