Lady Pioneers fall in home opener

The home opener for the Lady Pioneers against NE Mississippi did not go as planned.  The Lady Pioneers came out shooting well and was tied at the end of the first quarter.  Struggling to find a rhythm and consistency during the 2nd and 3rd quarters made for a tough hole to climb out of.  "I thought we played hard in spurts and that made it tough to find that rhythm to keep in the flow of the game," Coach Key mentioned.  "We have 1 sophomore out there in Haley Davis and 4 freshmen trying to learn, compete and find their way at the same time, so there will be challenges."  The Lady Pioneers look to bounce back against the Gadsden team that beat them in the season opener on Monday, 11-7-22.
