Lady Pioneers Bounce Back

The Lady pioneers were steady and consistent for 40 mins in their 86-71 win against Gadsden St in the Pickel Gym Monday night.  The play was very frenetic, and the Lady Pioneers forced Gadsden into 27 turnovers and never trailed in the game.  Led by 6 players in double figures, Coach Key was very happy to see his team turn the corner and get their first win.  "This is the way I expected this team to play when we recruited these players," Key mentioned.  "As long as they continue to work and improve and trust each other, they will continue to have nights like this."  Up next for the Lady Pioneers will be Southwest TN at home in the conference opener Wednesday, November 9 at 5:30 pm.
